Everybodies idea of a fishing adventure is a little different. Our goal is to meet you where you are at in your angling journey. From learning to make a basic cast, to understanding the bugs, to hunting large trout, or adding some trick casts to your arsenal. We are motivated to listen to your needs and provide you with a custom trip.
Your Guide will communicate with you before your trip to discuss your options.
Some examples are:
We have a third angler. is that ok? yes
We can trade off 2 anglers fishing from the boat and stop at prime spots and get out of the boat and all three guests can fish from shore.
Can we focus on dry fly fishing only? yes. if its mid summer, we can meet at 1:30 pm for a full day or just focus on the evening hours and enjoy the river when nobody is around and the dry fly fishing is at its best!
We have never fly fished before, and want to learn to be indipendent on our home rivers. We recomend a full day trip. We can spend the first few hours of the day going over all of the equipment we use, tying the nessesary knots, and go over some bug life cycles and matching those insects to flies we use (entomology, we love this stuff!). After the "classroom" introduction, we will head to a local river that mimics your home rivers and use it as a template to give you the confidence to fish on your own.
Feel free to bring your own gear, or Bring your own. Feel free to check in with us with any questions.
We use top of the line drift boats or rafts to acces the river.
We do not provide lunches on this trip unless we have made arrangements before your trip. Your guide will have a large cooler with ice for your lunches and drinks. We do provide snacks and bottled water.
Are you commited to the date, but not exactly sure of the details? Go ahead and book your trip, and we will fine tune your experience to your needs.
