Spring fishing on the Yakima River can be challenging but it is worth the reward. Weather and river conditions play a big role in spring angling succes. Its mostly a sub surface game. streamers or spinners, with a veriety of subserface bugs are on the menue. There is potencial for some epic dry fly fishing, targeting the march brown mayfly hatch. This hatch can produce some iconic dry fly eats on pods of hungry trout. This trip is fully customisable. Just getting started on your fishing journey? We can start at square one. A seasoned veteran looking for some two handed spey action with some 2 pm march brown sippers. We've got you covered! Not interested in fly fishing? We're happy to rig the boat with conventional tackle and throw spinners and nymphs under a bobber. We're happy to go fishing with whatever style your interested in. We do not provide lunches on this trip. Your guide will have snacks, bottled water and a cold cooler for all of your food and drinks. All flies and equipment is provided, or bring your own gear. The weather can be cooler in the spring. Please bring extra layers and a rain coat just in case... Your guide has dry storage to store your extra clothes.
